Project Description

Project Overview

We really enjoyed this whole first floor renovation of this older Homeland home mainly because the end result was so drastically different from what it was when we started. This is of course true with most of our projects but in this case the before and afters were astonishing. The house as far as we could tell had never been updated during its many years in existence. We were lucky to partner with architect Vincent Greene and Jenkins Baer designer Elizabeth Cross-Beard on this property.

This project was featured in Baltimore Magazine.

In addition to following their lead in implementing many new wonderful touches, Smithouse recommended adding a vaulted ceiling which resulted in a nice finish to the newly renovated space. Additional project highlights included converting part of a breezeway into a mudroom off of the kitchen, removing walls and expanding the kitchen.

We are happy to share that this particular build was featured in Baltimore Magazine. To read the feature, click here. Congratulations to all who were involved on this project!
