Featured Project: Lutherville Transformation Part 2 – Interior Remodeling

Our client’s goal was to create a series of spaces that felt both beautiful and highly functional—each one thoughtfully connected and tailored to the client’s style and way of life. To achieve this, we reimagined the adjacent areas with custom millwork, refined furnishings, and layered details that bring warmth and cohesion throughout the home.

In the kitchen area, the existing banquette was expanded wall to wall, transforming it into a more functional and inviting feature. Built-in shelving now frames the space, offering room for display, while integrated drawers within the bench provide additional storage. A custom upholstered cushion adds comfort and a subtle infusion of color and pattern, softening the architectural lines of the cabinetry.

In the laundry room, we reimagined a dated, cramped space into a bright, organized, and efficient hub for the family. Stunning wallpaper, thoughtful storage, durable finishes, and a clean design make this laundry room as practical as it is beautiful.

In the den, the original built-ins from the home’s construction were replaced with new, floor-to-ceiling shelving designed to house the client’s impressive book collection. Additional millwork was updated for a more sophisticated, cohesive look that reflects the home’s elevated aesthetic. This made the den a more inviting and cozy space.

The dining room was refreshed with a mix of new and existing pieces, striking a balance between familiarity and refinement. Updated dining chairs and tailored fixed-panel drapery bring texture and polish, completing the room with understated elegance.

A light update in the living room further unified the home’s palette and rhythm. Tall bookcase cabinets were added to frame the window and draw the eye upward, while two velvet chairs and a new area rug define a cozy seating nook that feels both intentional and inviting.
